Hi my name is Nolan Schmitz, and I’m a reporter from Gravenstein News from Room 16. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, preserves 805 acres of the majestic Coast Redwoods. Armstrong Redwoods is a natural sanctuary and is cherished for its spectacular beauty and quiet reflection. It is a living monument of the primeval redwood forest that covered much of the land before logging began in the early 1900’s. Now let us hear from Lily Seidler.
Hi my name is Lily Seidler, and the Coast Redwoods play an extremely important part in the ecological health of the animals, river, and surrounding forest area. Without them we would not be able enjoy their beauty and study them. They are part of a complex living community of living things interacting with their environment. We need to continue to protect these magnificent trees so that future generations can enjoy them. Thank for listening to Gravenstein News from RM 16.
