Redwood Trees

I learned so much about Redwood trees on our class field trip, when I went to Armstrong Woods. I found the redwood trees to be fascinating. At Armstrong Woods, I learned that there is salmon DNA in the trees. I thought it was very interesting that the trees that are dead and lying on the moist ground, grow new life on top of them. I also think it is cool how Redwood bark is resistant to bugs and fire.
