Fungi and Algae Took a Lichen to Each Other

Lichen is made of fungi and algae. Some lichen is called Old Man’s Beard because it hangs of the trees and branches. Other lichen just stays flat on the trees. One type of lichen is neon yellow. It can move from one place to another. Lichen is similar to moss. There is a lot of moss and lichen in Armstrong Woods. It grows all over the trees and fence. Some lichen is stretchy and elastic. Lichen is very interesting.
