Hello, this is Eleanor. On tuesday, of this week our fifth grade class went on a field to Armstrong Woods State Park. My class and I went on a two mile hike through the woods, ate a nutritious lunch and hiked a different 1 mile path back. While I was there I notice a truly amazing smell; nature. It was made up of a gazillion different smells. There was Maple tree, Bay tree, moss, the dampness of soil, and most of all, Redwood bark. It was an amazing, natural, pure smell. The true smell of the redwoods. I noticed it through whole hike, and while we found spotted leaves, sighted lovely fawns, I smiled.
